Default Ceramic or Kevlar clutch? Daily drive, plus 3500rpm launches for autocross

I've been looking at the AWE and Vast for clutches, and I am starting to wonder if Kevlar will be good enough. I don't want to sacrifice the daily drive feel too much, but I need something that will stand up to autocross launches.

The shop currently has my clutch apart, and they are telling me that my flywheel is completely blue from over heating. I assume this is due to my autocross hard launches.

Can Kevlar take the heat, or should I go with Ceramic?

I'm also starting to lean towards a LWFW, from what I have read I shouldn't get chatter as long as I stay above 2000rpm which I do. But I'm a newb still... so maybe I need to search more. :P

Default AWE says their Ferramic stage 3 will wear quickly though...

Is that just because they assume you will be launching the car all the time?

Any opinions on the engagement point of the Ferramic disc and how it would feel for daily driving?

Thanks.

Default They are both very similar as far as feel and grip but with ceramic you won't need the break in

miles. I used the kevlar setup from Vast and its holding fine although I don't "launch" the car.

Default So AWE / Vast clutches are actually just South Bend clutches? hmmm....

Looking at the pictures on the websites... the clutches do look the same.

I ordered the VAST ceramic with a stock fly wheel. Hopefully I don't burn this one too.
