Change '00 oil lines to turbos?

Change '00 oil lines to turbos?
Garrett's website says to upgrade '00 turbo oil lines to '01 parts to help prevent oil starvation of the right turbo leading to early failure of the right turbo only. Wouldn't one need to replace the turbo also to make this effective?

Yes, APR said that replacing the lines without changing to the new turbo is a waste
the old Turbo part # is really the weak link. The new turbo has a much better oiling system/ channel
