Default MTM feels fast, especially down low and is quite smooth... but it tapers boost alot up top

I really liked MTM, especially for daily driving however it seemed kinda weak in comparision to GIAC which I have now. I have no problems with my GIAC at all but MTM's boost ramp up seemed much more civil compared to GIAC. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of those chips. I also heard the Neuspeed chip is quite good... it's Doc approved ;-)

Default It does look like a v3.3 curve. Not sure how v5 runs on 91 program though (if he's running 91 prg).

Even though I believe the X chip is faster, I also think the gap should be closer than 30whp. Aleast not with v5 on the 93 program from what I've seen. On the 93 program/octane, v3.2/3.3 was dynoing ~245-250whp on the local dyno (4-5 H/M box cars). An 01 X-chipped car dynoed 272whp. My A box v3.3 Stg 2 dynoed 268 with the 19s on. An H-box v5 came in and dynoed 273whp @ stage 1. Here's what's strange. The same H-box v5 car when Stage 2+ and 2+ software, dynoed in the 250s. Within 1 or 2 HP on 4 back to back dyno pulls. I loaded the stage 1/2 software back on that ECU, we went back to the dyon and the car was back in the 270s. ?!?! Even seat of the pants, the stage 1/2 program ran better in that car than the 2+ program. I'm curious as to why though.

Default I have repeated this test on my car several times. However on Nathan's car which was a Stage 1

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/44443/nathan_s4_giac_apr_stock_031205_adj.jpg"></center><p>M box as well, the curves are much closer (see pic). I don't understand the differences. I have downpipes, cat-back and IC's.
