chip upgrade (what else is needed?)

i am being told that reliability may be an issue with a chip upgrade. it has been suggested that i rectify the weakness of the driveline boot with an APR bi-pipe or just a samco boot. i am also told that improved diverter valve would be worthwhile as well given my concerns. any thoughts?

I would. When I chipped I changed everything. AMS TBB, Forge BPVs, and MTM f-pipe. Good idea.

Keep in mind that when you are looking here reading about issues

people are experiencing, there are so many more of us who have yet to experience anything! If you are worried about something breaking, then don't upgrade anything, but on the other hand, if you don't modify and something still breaks, you'll kick yourself for not doing anything.
