CHIPPED S4 BEAT BY A6 4.2
Was following a debadged A6 4.2. quite a bit over the limit. I make 320 HP at the flywheel with my GIAC chip and Borla,among many other mods. This guy just drove away. The V8 obviously has serious torque advantage with minimal extra wt in the A6.
Unless he also had TAP type ecu upgrade and exhaust.

Something is wrong with your car than. My partner has one, and my APR chipped car runs away from him
EVRYWHERE! The 4.2 isn't as fast as an S8 or S6, and we can run away from them, although once moving the S8 is reallllllllllly close.

Off the line the 2.7T or S4 will beat the 4.2...but not from 80 on up...

One was a Santorin back in June on I5, the other a Laser in July outside of Vegas.
Off the line, though, the S4 has my ***!
Of course from 130 on up, the S4 beats my *** too! Damn speed limiter!

Hmm.....In Euro Tuner, there's a guy running around with a A6 4.2 with Nitrous.
You may have run into him. I seriously doubt bone stock A6 4.2 will just drive away from a "Properly" running S4.

I've followed them around a track - 4.2 does not gain any ground from 30-105, and ...
they always ended up letting me by - then they disappeared in my rearview mirror. I have the stock chip and ran on stock 215/55 tires. A stock S4 would be just a hair faster.
