Default choice of tires for RS4

I have to choose tires for my RS4, they providing 3 brands 255/35/18 :

+ Dunlop SP9000
+ Pirelli PZERO Rosso
+ Michelin Pilot Sport

I asked Yokohama AVS Sport but not possible.

I get a lease with summer/winter tires, so the kilometers with one set of tires is not a real issue. I have no experience in those brands.
Any comment is welcome.

Default all are good tires. If you want to read tire reviews, a good place to go is www.tirerack.com

they also have comperisons between tires, which is what you are looking for. If you want my opinion I would go with the michelins since they are excellent high performance tires for the summer

Nice that you have a *choice* of tires.
The Rosso and 9000 are going to be the most comfortable, if roads are bad where you live. The pilot sport might be a little better handling, but I'm quite pleased with my Rosso's. I think they have a nice balance between ride quality and handling. I haven't noticed the sidewall flex. That may have been in 17"s, and mine (and the RS4) has 18".

Default funny about AVS sport

On my current 245/35/18 the pression limit is at 51 psi!!! I just remark that last week when washing. I am about to try that this week-end, just for fun. It will be dawn hard. Did you alreday try this kind of pression?

Default What i love about AVS

they dont chunk like other tyres (eg Pilot Sports), just eventually lose abit of grip as the surface boils.

Many so called perfomance tyres bend so much that on hard cornerig its actually possible to run on the wall ! (goddyear F! for example)

The sheer grip and turn in speed is amazing and it enhances driver feedback, viva none bendy tyre walls.

Of course this is from the point of view of someone who wants to power slide around corners on a track and if you are after comfort and low noise the AVS probably aint for you.
