Classic S4 comment from my wife
Last night we're driving to dinner, and somehow we get on the subject of which car we're going to replace first.
Her: I hope it's not this one.
Me: I thought you didn't really like the seats?
Her: But I've just kicked so much *** in this car!

That's fantastic. Finally got my gf saying stuff like...
..."that SUV shouldn't be going as fast as us, it looks like it's going to tip over" and "that's a nice looking car over there, too bad it's one-wheel drive", comments which certainly make me smile. But then there are the days were I ask her if we can drive her old car because I don't want to park the S4 where we're going; she doesn't mind all that much, but she can't quite understand why I'd want to drive a car that I have to worry about so much. She'd rather have a less desirable car and not have to worry about theft, vandalism, etc. Of course, she doesn't like it too much when I point out to her that the only reason I have to worry so much about the S4 is that we live in the godforsaken state of NJ (yes, she's from here). Guess you gotta pick and choose your battles in a relationship.

She doesn't like it, Yeah right.
My girlfriend says she thinks it's too much work to drive my S4. She thinks the clutch is stiff, it is harder to shift, and it requires more effort to turn the wheel as compared to her Civic. Funny thing is she doesn't hesitate to ask for the keys. I don't like it can I have more please. Go figure. She gets mad if I joke around and tell her she can't drive. Can't say I ever beg to drive the 97 Civic.

Wife's car is a 2.8 Z3, so it's not like
she's usually in some gutless wonder. She just digs the torque. More than once she's used the phrase "when we get the chip". She noticed (and enjoyed) the change in the car when I installed the DTS. She's expressed interest in autocrossing. She rides her own motorcycle. She may rib me a bit about how much time I spend on AW, but she understands.
I think she's a keeper.

Mine prefers the S4, says it's nice and tight, compared to the loosey goosey allroad
