Climate Control Problem

Every once in a while, and more often than that lately, the climate control ignores the temperature setting and blows hot air. Doesn't matter what the internal temperature setting is. To get cold air, I have to set the temperature to "LO". Turning the climate control on and off doesn't help; it persists until I start the car again.
Needless to say, this is no fun when it gets warm. I'm thinking maybe a faulty temperature sensor in the cabin. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Ron
