Car has new rear brake pads and rotors as of Monday. I noticed yesterday and today that I'm getting a clinking sound from the rear when I go over bumps. Sounds like dropping a quarter in a bottle... semi-metallic. Any thoughts on what this could be? I'm guessing it's not related to the rotor/pad install, but the timing is suspicious.

...most rear pads for that caliper have a scissor type spring on either pad. This spring is shaped like a "V", where the two ends fit in the caliper castings, and the single end is attached to the backing plate.
When installing the caliper back on top of the pads/carrier, it's easy for one of the springs to slide up into the opening in the middle of the caliper casting. Then the pad rattles around back there.
You'll know you have the rear pads installed right when the caliper is a PITA to get back over the pads, if it slides right on, you probably missed the springs.
At least, this has happened to me before, and the noise was apparent and consistent. I'd start there.
