Were you running it really hard beforehand? Could it be glazed?
Could be installer error (SAC mechanism). A lot of the time, a flywheel resurface isn't needed (especially at 58K miles) and can actually be detrimental if performed incorrectly.

na, im always easy on the clutch...
you might be right about the install, anythings possible, so that would just put me in the screwed category, cause i had that installed on the hush hush when they replaced my turbo's

lol. Sounds like the installer didn't adjust the SAC (self adjusting clutch) mechanism correctly
I had the same problem with my RS4 clutch. Hard pedal close to the floor and slippage. Tranny had to be dropped and the SAC reset (its on the pressure plate). While the tranny was out I got the vast kevlar friction disk installed.

I hear ya. You gotta have a good attitude with these cars otherwsie you will just get pissed all the
time. I had just bought my car when I found out the RS4 clutch wasn't suppose to feel like that. So I had to go and pay to have the tranny dropped again.
If you had the clutch installed talk to the shop that did the work. Nothing is broken, the SAC was just simply not reset (it tends to shift during shipping). They should cover their work or at least work with you.
Good luck!
