So I went to drag strip several times. On one of the launches clutch slipped very badly(my fault launching at ~4500rpm and not completely releasing clutch). Drove home from strip doing some spirited driving but no sign of clutch slippage in high gears..
Then 2 days ago on my way to work I punch the car in 5th to go around some slow traffic and it slips. I was at 3000+ rpm so high TQ range. I try this several more times but slippage goes away. I try it on the way back from work and clutch holds fine.
Next day I try it again in the morning and it does it again but only 2-3 times and then holds!?
It is only doing it when clutch/tranny is relatively cold/not fully warmed up in the morning.
So what is the verdict here? Did I just glaze my clutch at the strip or is this clutch done and it will progressively get worse?
Then again if the clutch is glazed wouldn't it slip in every gear?
Your advice is much appreciated!

which was 15K miles ago and it didn't slip until this drag strip event.
That was my original thought as well but then it would be slipping in all gears right?

It might just be glazed as Mike said, so try being gentle to it for a while.
