Default Clutch Install Question

Installed a VAST LWFW and Ceramic Hybrid Clutch this week. New slave cylinder - bleed as we re-installed the engine. Clutch feels normal. The pedal moves down about 1/2" and then resistance with dis-engagement about 2/3 of the way to the floor (as felt my turning the driveshaft). Pedal comes back normally.

The issue: as I was torquing the drive-shaft bolts to the trans, I just happened to try to use the engine to hold back the torque on the bolt. When the shaft turned while torquing the first bolt, I tried and succeeded in turning the driveshaft by hand with the car in gear. When we roll the engine over from the crank snout, the drive shaft will turn, but you can hold it with your hand while the other person keeps turning the engine over.

My expectations were that the clutch should be able to hold the drive shaft back even though its new....???? Did I miss something??? I could have swore that the SAC was adjusted properly and the trans slid right in - maybe not??

Decided to go forward with the install and noticed that the front diff is turning when I roll the engine over(trans in gear, E-brake is on, no front CV shafts). Its a little hard to see, but I would assume this is normal.

Does anyone have a good write/tech article on our torsion diffs? I the torsion diff didn't allow for differential speed between front to rear.
