Default Clutch related issue, I need advice...

A month ago my clutch started slipping mildly at WOT. This turned into my clutch pedel not fully traveling to the ground or back to the fully released position. After a trip to the dealer I was told my clutch was fine but my master cylinder was shot. They replaced my master cylinder and the issue was supposedly rectified. 1k Miles later I now have the same issue. Why would a master cylinder fail twice, or once for that matter?

I have had lots of different performance cars and several Audi's in the past, including a UrS4 I put 130k on, this is not a driver issue. I only include the above to avoid posts about abusive driving etcetera.

Default both master AND slave clutch cylinders will cause *stuck pedal* feeling. Also check your fluid level

Master or slave cylinder failure is usually nothing more but bad rubber seal allowing fluid to travel past it...

bad cylinders will NOT cause clutch to slip. Hydraulics DISENGAGE the clutch, not ENGAGE it.

If your clutch was slipping - it's wearing out.

Default I know that is my frustration. I should be getting full pressure on the plate in this condition?

So if my clutch is slipping then even with the replacement of whatever parts, the pressure on release will be no higher?

Sorry for the need for clarification.

Default of course. The pressure is generated by springs (diaphragm). Hydraulics act against this pressure to

release the clutch when you push the pedal
