Default Clutch? Transmission? Screwed?

So I'm driving and all of the sudden I feel like it's *difficult* to get into 1st gear. The clutch feels the same (as far as I can tell... it's still got some pressure, etc) but it's almost like it doesn't want to slip into gear...

When it does, 2nd is even harder to get into.. once I actually get going, I use the RPM's and such to ease the shifting and it transitions a bit better... I'm not sure what happened or if I did something.

I replaced the clutch with the RS4 kevlar and the flywheel with the stock dual-mass about 3 months ago.

I also made sure not to drive it too rough in the beginning for fear of glazing (but I still pull pretty well when it *gets* into gear)... the shifting seems to be issue and since no one near me services Audi, I'm kind of on my own to diagnose and troubleshoot.. (thank god it's not electrical and I don't need a vag... that's the only good things about it, ha)

I drive the car fairly hard, but no track launches or anything...

Thoughts?

Default You replaced the friction disc, but not the PP? Failing slave cylinder or fingers breaking on PP

are the two common causes of this, if I understand your symptoms correctly. Diaphragm spring on the PP have known issues - I have had 2 of them fail on me. Most times, they fail suddenly and it becomes impossible to disengage the clutch. Then the only way to shift is to rev-match.

Default pp was changed as well... the more I think about it, it's almost...

like the shifter could be misaligned.. I don't know... but being that it's mechanical and not electrical, I'm anticipating figuring it out by tomorrow...

any thoughts beyond the teeth worn? (they're new)
