Default coil-overs

I am now 3/4 of the way done installing my coil-overs. I have the rears done(was easy)and its just fine tuning the ride height. Now with the fronts, I got the assy out and just had a question and hopefully its not to dumb. Do I need to compress the springs to take off the top to switch everything over? And also, will I have to compress the H/R springs to reinstall? One more thing, from the ground to the bottom of the fender(centered), what ride height do most people suggest? Keep in mind I live in Minnesota. Thanks for any info.

Default Yes! Use spring compressors.

You risk injury if you don't.

As for the ride height, my H&Rs are set at 25.25". This is probably too low for you if you plan on keeping your height set the same through a MN winter. Perhaps 25.75"?
