Default Coil pack

Can someone explain to me how to test a coil pack with a MULTIMETER? Nothing more... Thanks!

Eric

Btw... I don't want to know how to switch, swap, replace coil packs. Just the multimeter.

I would assume place one lead on the middle prong that the wiring harness plugs into and another where the tip of the spark plug goes.

Set the meter to 10 ohms.

The ohmmeter should read below 2 ohms. If the readings are above 2 ohms, have the coil pack replaced.

This is to test the primery resistance of the coil pack.

Jason... I couldn't get my multimeter to read anything. I tried to do the spark plug boot itself and nothing as well. Oh well. On the other note, I got my car to start using starter fluid. I think its my fuel relay. Do you know if the relay will keep my car from starting? No codes yet.
