coil pack failure

anybody have an idea if coil packs for cylinders 2 and 6 share anything in common? I've got a nasty misfire from those cylinders due to bad coil packs.

yes that is correct. this is not the first time this has happened as jason at amd can attest to. it's just gotten much worse since "new" coil packs were put in, it ran great for about a week and a half.

Second of all, are you saying that after putting in "new" coil packs, you are still getting misfires in the two same cylinders as before ? Also, what exactly do you mean by "new" ? Please be more specific.

Remember when you were here we just threw in a used one that was still working, but clearly your car was in need of new coils. Did you replace them all? What about the igniters?

"new" to the car, used coil packs. and jason i'm going to get new coils at the middle of next week. probably pick up new ignigters too.
