for those of you that know Mosport outside of Toronto, the track is a very highspeed track with turn #2 and turn #4 being very fast downhill negative camber corners - you can very easily total your car in these corners - never mind induce a roll and do bad things to yourself
i was at a track day today
it was my 3rd trackday with the Ohlins
it was 11C / 50F temperature
i usually like to run 40psi hot but Porsche mechanic at the track said he sets up his heavy cars at 38 hot - i tried this
i give it a "very" easy first lap (i'm expecting the front left tire to come up 8 / 10psi)
on second lap i'm still taking it very easy (2/3rds - still swerving to heat up tires)
i very, very comfortably enter into turn #2 and then the back end of the car comes around - no way was I remotely expecting this
i have driven this track 10 days - I know it very well
prior to the Ohlin's i was running KW V2's (higher spring rates in the front than the rear)
ATTENTION: for you track novices like me, make sure your tires get up to temperature when your car is dialled in for minimal oversteer - because when the tires are not fully heated (i.e all will get to 38 to 40) the car will have "major oversteer"!!
the only reason i didn't roll / flip / do major damage was that i was going 1/2 speed that i didn't hit the wall / tumble down the hill

Any lift off in a scenario that you describe and the rear will come right around.
