to be reset/recaliberate in order to read properly. 5 bar FPR, RS4 injectors or fuel pumps? TIA.

Also, the OEM FPR on our S4s are 4 bar, correct?

Default Does Stage 3- software take care of the recalibration ? ...more

Needless to say, if one were to go Stage 3- that is. Can this be done by any tunning shop or dealer only? TIA.

Default If this recalibration is easily do-able by software/VAG, a mod friendly dealership may be willing.

There are dealerships here in the NW that are willing to put aftermarket components into a car, without warranty of course.

Steve, people here on the West operates a little differently from the ones in the NE.

Default Replacing the stock 4bar FPR with a 5bar FPR increases fueling ~11.8%. The code doesn't compesnate.

However, you can go into VAG and adjust ECU fuel consumption calculations a bit (3 settings in each directions from stock, incrememnt of 5 units not sure if it's percent). It is a guessing game, though. Realistically, you'd have to document how many gallons you filled up with and how many miles you got from that amount of gas to get your own MPG calculations and then from there assess how far off your trip comp is and see which of the VAG fuel consumption adsjusments gets you closest.

On my Homebrew stage 3 car, I have the VAG fuel consumption adjustment set to the max (showing more consumption that stock to lower MPG) and I'm still quite a bit off. I average 20-21 MPG in reality, but the trip comp shows 27.5-28.5 MPG.

Fuel pump might, but nowhere near as extreme as injectors/FPR.

VAG channel adj. isn't enough for most stage3 setups.

Only if the stock fuel pump is starving out.
