My 2000 S4 didn't come with the old version of NAV (NAV C?). I have searched, and 99% of everyting I find deals with the new version of NAV (RNSE?).
My question is does the old NAV use the same radio? How does the old version work? Does it just show arrows on the center display of the dash? What would be involved to put the old NAV system on my car? I don't have an extra $1500 lying around to put in the new system. Trying to buy a new house right now.
Thanks

for about $900 now on avg. I have pics of the Nav+ in my pic poster if interested. Also go to this site and read up on the differences between the versions. The RNS-E(US B7 nav) offers some additional features and is DVD-map based but I don't care for the look (mismatch, doesn't fit, etc...).

Audi Nav Site:

I have the Audi text only(in dash) factory nav and while it does work, it is not very intuitive and is clunky to operate.

http://www.thomas.com/</a
