I have been getting bad EGT sensor symptoms for the last month or some, bucking and misfires. So I had the codes pulled and amongst misfires there was also a EGT code as well.
However I couldnt remember which side it was so today I the help of a buddy and pulled the codes again to figure out which side. Only this time it did not read a bad EGT but misfires on cylinders 1,2,4,5 and a 16805: Warm up Catalyst Bank 1: Efficiency Below Theshold [Sporadic](which was present the other time as well.)
The question is could a bad O2 make the car run limp mode and buck a lot or is it just the EGT? I have not been getting into boost at ALL lately so Im wondering if the EGT might have cleared itself? Is that even possible?
Im pretty confused right now so any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

If you don't remember & didn't write it down, try to log the block for the EGTs. Block 112 I think. You're getting misfires on both banks, so it's not obvious. And even if it were, I wouldn't replace a $200 part without being damn sure which was flakey.
Keep pulling codes every couple days. If you're going into limp, you'll get a code eventually. These fuggers tend to have sporadic problems, sucks for troubleshooting

List is $340 and cost is about 1/2 that. I still disagree with replacing things that aren't broken. I'm sure my control arms, my O2 sensors, and my EGT sensors are on their way out. But I'm sure as **** not going to drop $1000+ to fix something that ain't broke.
