if they are functioning properly when they are in the car. That's fact. Yes, the car will compensate for a leak and still reach the desired boost level...BUT, it will lag for a second if there is a leak.
Here's a question I have for everyboby.....Does anyone know exactly how the system works? What I mean is, what exactly does the car do when it decides to bleed the boost.

I plan to drive the car tonight and then take them out when they're still warm. If they're sticking like the first batch did, I'll ask for my money back too.
Cold they seemed a lot smoother than the first batch.

When you let off the throttle, the throttle plate blocks off anymore boost going to the engine and the engine creates a higher vacuum. That vacuum in connected to the signal line of the bpv which then pulls the piston open. When the piston opens, it bleeds the charge air. Is that what you were asking? I can write a more thorough/clearer explanation, if you'd like.
