I really think that the "oven test", is not representative of what happens in the engine
I think that with air constantly moving through and in the valve
that the mean temp is a lot less than 150-175F..most of the time
just my $0.02

dunno frank, when I tried to pull a hot one out of the car
after a hard drive, it was a lot hotter to the touch than when I pulled them out of the oven at 180 a couple of times. My 2nd set of valves worked fine after the oven test, but are majorly lagging in the car
