iirc Bosch makes the pump for Audi. Our part comes direct from Bosch, not through the Audi dealership. Same part, different box.

Here's what I found:
Like others have said the leak tends to be from either the O-ring within the pump or a gasket between the two pump halves. Mine was pretty bad at about 150K; the seal was crumbling, the o-ring was pretty much a square, and the pump itself was cracking around the screws. Yours most likely is not nearly as bad as mine and may be fixable.
If you do a search you'll find Mark has the o-ring spec. I looked them up in McMaster Carr and a pack of 10 Viton rings was like 8 bucks. If your seal is bad, however, you may be SOL, another AWer Mike tried a fix with RTV and it failed after a couple months.
HTH,
Rob
PS. I didn't replace mine, I just put in a short length of 3/4" heater hose in line. My rationale is that in the 5+ years I've had my car the pump has never once turned on, secondly I don't tend to beat the **** out of the car and just park it, and finally the darn thing will just fail again with the high under hood temps and not being used.
