Default Correct, detailed parts list for aluminum interior trim swap

I just completed swapping maple to alum. Although there is an often re-posted invoice list from a 2 year old archive, it has a couple errors/omissions. Clair sent me the wrong part for the shifter surround THREE times before getting it right on fourth try! So for future archive searchers you will need: (clair prices)

4 door alum trim pieces: $28.64 each
8D0-867-409-M-9PD
8D0-867-410-M-9PD
8D0-867-419-M-9PD
8D0-867-420-M-9PD

L dash alum mold
8D1-853-189-K-9PD $12.84

R dash alum mold
8D1-853-190-AK-9PD $29.67

Top of center console black trim
8D0-863-321-B98 $12.89

Entire ashtray assembly w/ black face
8D0-857-951-L-B98 (ouch!)$110.49

Black shifter surround - lots of confusion because most if not all the cars were "set-up" to accept NAV and needs this part ordered as "with NAV" even if your car (like mine) does not actually have the NAV option on the car. One way to tell - the "with NAV" piece is 10.5" long; "without NAV" piece is longer - about 13"

Manual shift car w/NAV (the right part for me on try #4!) 8D0-864-261-AB-6DP $78.87

Auto/Tip w/NAV 8D0-864-261-R-6DP $24.03

If you actually (unlikely) need the long piece for a car not made to be able to accept NAV:
Manual shift w/o NAV is 8D0-864-261-H-6DP $78.87

Finally, extra clips you will need. The dash pieces use the same kind of clip whether maple or aluminum, and you probably will be able to re-use them. BUT the clips that hold the four door trim pieces, are completely different for the maple vs aluminum. You will need to order #14 clips to use with your new aluminum door pieces of part # N-906-878-01. These are the same as used on the dash - you might want to order a couple extra in case yours aren't all re-usable.

My total cost for parts was: $366.04

Cheers

Default Yes, the only thing you should worry about is the shifter plate

You can pop it off and measure it to compare against what DeepBlueS4 posted to order the correct one. Everything else should be the same
