Cost aside, what are the pros and cons of a K03/K04 vs. a K03/16 vs. a tribrid?

Why would you go with one vs. the other. Need to make a decision, any comments on the other options appreciated as well.

Just researched this and here is what I came up with...
I just did a bunch of research on this and here were the main points I could see.
K03/K04...performs a bit better than stock, does not fall totally on its face at high RPM like a K03
K03/K16...100rpm or so more lag than stock...bit better flow than K03/k04 especially in the top end.
K04/K16v2(tribrid)...Spools more like a true K04. (more lag 500rpm-ish) and from what I understand could flow "almost" as well as a straigh K04.
Seems like the further you go up the list the more "potential" you have latter on for other mods.
FWIW I found some K04s and ended up buying those instead.

When you say better matched>
do you mean a more efficeient / reliable turbo?
I am sold on Jacob's work, however, a part of me thinks the less changes the less chance for future issues (which leads me away from the tribrid).
The other part of me thinks that the tribrid is the best option because, as you say, it may be "better matched"?
