Default Could a bad coolant temp sensor effect boost in any way?

My coolant temp sensor is going back, reading exactly halfway and then going back down a notch or 2, and a rough idle. But it seems as if my boost is more stable when the needle is halfway rather than not perfect. When it was extremely cold the other day I was getting some major throttle cut and was wondering if the sensor could have ANY effect on boost. Thanks alot just trying to narrow some issues down.

Temp sensor is cheap and easy to replace. Could be your cause.

Default My temp sensor was faulty, and my boost levels were normal on my gauge...

Just had it replaced under warranty, and noticed no difference with boost. Just my $.02...
