Supposed to be up in the air again right now, I'll do a drive-by later. If so end of the week, tops.

Default BTW, the X-chip won't boost past 1.1 bar, and it is usually upwards of 1.5 bar.......

in other words, it is in limp mode. But I am curious as to why the APR chip will just keep giving the car more and more boost.

We need to start sending APR emails daily to get them to release that fuel system.

Default Yes it could be, although it shouldn't be.. the ECU is normally a torque-based system, in that (m)

it strives to reach a target TQ value under a variety of conditions. The biggest factor from which this TQ calc is derived is the MAF measurement. So in a way, it is striving to reach a desired MAF measurement. This is readily apparent in cold weather when the ECU may cut boost because it can reach the target value without boosting as high.

Howerver there is normally a 'max boost' safeguard that steps in even if we can't hit the target. Honestly, I can't believe APR would remove this so perhaps there is another explanation.
