Default crank timing gear vs. harbor freight bolt puller = bolt puller pwned.
6 bolts bent to hell, and the center threads in the puller plate ripped out.

Careful with heat and the crank. I have no idea what temp would affect its hardening.

Default You get what you pay for at HF.
That said I do buy some things there. Pullers are NOT one of them. You want 0 movement in a pulling tool. The stouter the better....but you know that now.
