Default Crap...just curbed a 18" BBS-CH wheel at high speed going around a turn too tight

Wheel techniques quoted $450 to repair one of my CHs...this one is just cosmetic...I am guessing they will quote about $300. I am going to try Wheels America as an option. Sheesh.

The damage is only on the outermost part of the rim..about 45% of the rim.

Oh well...live and learn. I was late for work..rushing...turned into the corner too tight...ARGGGGG

Default place around here charges $150 per wheel

fix+paint...best paint work I've seen. Cheaper to send the wheel to Boston to have it done. Let me know if you want to persue this. I would take some pics of this so the shop can look at it first and verify that they can do the work and for that price.

Default Nope..I was quoted $425 for my bent CH last year...at Wheel Techniques. . .

The main dude at WT then went and got a lead hammer and banged hard on my CH and made it about 85% back to normal...I asked him how much for that..and he said "no charge". This was last year..

This time however...it is only cosmetic...but painting the entire face of the wheel will be required. I am still guessing about $300+.

Jeff, lets try to connect tonight...I will run by the storage place and get the 15"ers for you.

Even for a bent wheel, anything over $175 for fixing and refinishing is ridiculous.

Default I think it was one of those...

"If the customer can afford to buy 18" BBS-CH wheels..they can afford $300-400 to fix them". I hope not...but it is possible.
