Current Gen S4
How much longer is current gen going to be in production? I think I read earlier that someone picked up an 02, which surpised me considering next gen A4 is already out

surprised me too quite a while back...leftover parts?,,,,could you imagine what ...
Audi would be in for with tooling costs if they kept this body just for the S4?...I wish this wasn't the last year....maybe they could work out some of the problems we cry about.

2002 will PROBABLY be the last year. I just took...
delivery of my new 2002 S4 from the dealer 3 weeks ago. I tried to order one almost 3 months ago and was told the entire 2002 model-year S4 production was already complete and sitting in port waiting for Audi to release them, so I couldn't special-order one. I was lucky enough that they were able to find one almost like I wanted (just no nav system) sitting in port and talked the other dealer into dealer trading before they got released to the dealers. (How many times can YOU use the word dealer in a sentence!) I assume they made them all in advance because that will be the end...
