<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/85312/german_on_intercooler.jpg"></center><p>So, the picture sucks, but here's the German of what it says.
In German:
"Beschnitt fur 8d0 117 336 entlang der markierung"
Translated into English (via website):
"Trimming fur 8d0 117,336 along the marking"
So, if you look at the picture, there are lines on the intercooler shroud that show a pair of scissors and a line about a third of the way up. It looks like they should be cut for stock intercoolers and just weren't on mine. Does that sound right? They seem to fit fine...
I'm confused (which is normal, but that's beside the point.)

Same here. All the S4's that I have worked on, I have cut them there. I have found that the shrouds start to fold over and block air-flow, so I cut them on that line..
