The car's a 2001, I installed a new CV Boot. Redused my old plastic washer/metal washer. The car now make's a metal to metal scraping sound, above 10mph. When you get on the brake's it goes away a little, but not really.

When you make a slight left turn, it dissapeer's.

Im begining to think It might be in the brakes, but Im not 100% anyone got any idea's before I tear into it again, and re-do it all.. Thanks

but no CV boot issues before hand. It was a right-rear bearing. Same thing...the sound would dissapear in left-hand turns.

Did you place a new C ring on the end of the shaft?

Check the dust sheild, mine was scraping after a cv job, just bend it back.

Nope, there was not a new one in the box. I found the problem, it was a dust cover, on the bottom..
