daily driving oil preferances. M1, RL, RP
i live in nashville tn with pretty cold winters and relatively warm summers. 02 s4 with 64k. what oil is preferred? i can get any of the 3 being Mobil 1, redline, or Royal purple? what is the best weights and viscosities for summer and winter for each oil?
I've been told to use 5w30 for the winter and 10w40 summer with royal purple fill. or mobile 1 0w40. what do you guys think? Should i use redline? royal purple? or Mobil 1? what weights and viscosities for different seasons. again, keep in mind i live in tennessee where winter temps can get as low as the teens and summer temps can get close to 100 in the heat of the summer and my car will soon be a stage 2+ daily driver
