m1 0W-40 in winter (I live in Buffalo, NY) and I'm going to try Elf 5W-30 this summer

been running it just under 15k miles and I *swear* my turbos got quieter, esp cold.

Ran it religiously, then put M1 0w40 in, and noticed a lot more motor noise and then my turbos died.

LOL

Just a coincidence I know.

As long as the oil is 502 approved then it should be fine. I'm just partial to 0w30 Syntec.
