Damn old geezers need to get retested for their licenses.
Some old guy pulled out from a stop sign right in front of me. Luckily, no one was coming from the other direction so I was able to swerve around him. Only damage was the vase of roses that I got for my wife's B'day :-(

same thing happened to me last week when I was on the bike

old lady pulled out from the stop sign right in front of me. Locked both brakes and stopped within inches of her car. My friend riding 10 yards behind me said it was an extravagant stop with smoke coming from both front and rear tires and a spectacular slide

Had a close call last night too...
I was heading North down Broadway in Seattle and some guy on a side street didn't even look before pulling out. I had to swerve in the oncoming lane to avoid the geezer. Re-testing should mandatory for people above a certain age.
