Yep, BMW gave them a bunch of them. Great patrol car. 4 foor, fast, safe (more)

can carry prisoners. BMW gave them to them as South Carolina gave them major tax incentives to open the plant there (X5 and Z3).

Mercedes did the same thing in Alabama with ML55's for tax incentives to build their ML plant.

The car he pulled over is IMHO the fugliest car ever made...

...so I'd say he deserved it. Then again...there was this SUV that came out a few years ago that was pretty hideous looking, too. I can't remember what it was...an Isuzu, maybe?
