XJR stock is faster than S4 stock..
1998-2002: 0-60 5.2-5.4 1/4 in 13.6
370 hp
2003+: 0-60 5.0 1/4 in 13.4
390 hp
XKR has similar numbers..

the Red R badge means it's a no joke car.. it's fast stock.
When I had my XJR, at least 3 ricer kids rev and race me all the time.. all 3 times the ricers where all show. I easily smoked them off the line and mad car lengths. They were shocked as hell for a heavy a$$ big luxury sedan.

It kind of looked like the Honda Type R sticker. I found it ironic that Jaguar/Ford would select that particular font and color combination given its association with the ricer world.
BTW, I actually thought the car was pretty good looking.

ahh ok.. understood :-)
I never made that connection when I got the vehicle... Integra Type R.. Jaguar XKR/XJR etc. Coz I think of "Type R" or "Type S" for Acura. And just "R" for Jaguar.
