Darn Rear View Mirror... HELP!
Alright, so lately i have noticed that, at night, my rearview mirror is not dimming much. Hmmm, so i got in the car yesterday and now there is a bubble in the mirror, travels from side to side(very slowly) and now it appears to have stopped(roughly an inch by 4 inches). So, how much is a new mirror/where can i get one/can I retrofit a "non-dimming mirror" into the car. Less moving(dimming) parts, the better. Thanks in advance!

ECS $249.95
or you could replace it with a manual dimming mirror for 104.95<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=2.7T&mod el=B5%20S4&submodel=&category=Interior">Au tomatic Rear View Mirror</a></li></ul>

I think a non-dimming mirror will fit
I picked up a used non-autodimming mirror from a '98 A4 and it -looks- like it will mount right where the auto-dimmer does. I can't say for sure because I haven't tried it yet, just looked at it.
You will have to find something to do with the wires that go to the sensor in the auto-dim mirror.
hope that helps,
Dave
