DC Speeding Ticket ---> Unreasonable Speeding?

ugh... got a ticket on Saturday night in DC coming over the bridge on Connecticut towards Adams Morgan/Dupont Circle.
I wasn't told how much I was over by, but since the speed limit is 25mph through out the city I'm assuming I was at least 25mph over that.
The ticket is for Unreasonable Speeding..
What is that? Is it like reckless driving?
Anyone know the points that would be associated with Unreasonable Speeding?
The cop (cops actually, there were 3 cars) that pulled me over wasn't a DC local cop... I think it was the park police or the uniformed division of the secret service, the guys that watch over the embassies, gold shields on their cars?
Any help/ideas would be appreciated... $100 fine isn't that bad, I'm more concerned with points etc..

... the cop was really angry with me to be honest... never had an officer go off like that before... even made me give him the keys to the car while he was writing the ticket.
I think these guys are a little strung out with the "high security" state that DC is in rigt now.

I'd like to be sympathetic, given the really long hours they're working right now, but there's no excuse for that sort of behavior.
Saying they had you clocked, but not saying how fast? Bastard.

If he truly did clock you, the ticket should indicate a speed, and the device used to measure your speed. If that information is not present, I would seriously consider going to court, and requesting that the prosecutor come up with some "evidence".

hell, i didn't even know they bothered with traffic enforcement. Then again anytime you double the speed limit in an urban environment the cops do tend to get their panties in a bunch :-P
That said, if you still have the need for speed, a bunch of us are going karting this Sunday. Also there's a local group of S4 guys that hit autoXs and attend track days. let me know if you interested.

and they are apparently little "touchy" right now..
I've been thinking about joining up with you guys for karting... I'll let you know, thanks.
