Default black is the best looking car color but it is a pain in the *** to keep up. (m)

if you don't have 2 to 3 hours a week to clean it. i don't recomend it.
matthew(most moderated)k

Default I was in the same position...

Originally wanted silver but black came in months before. When it's clean, it's amazing. Yes, it gets dirty quickly, and I find that I need to wash it once a week.

If you are totally uptight, you'll regret black. If you're OK with a dirty car, go for it. I've found that Griot's show car wax keeps it shining the longest.
Daphne

Default I was in the same boat...

..when I bought my A6 2.7T 6 speed I had to settle for black (in order to get it earlier) and would agree w/ matthewk. If you keep it clean, its a beautiful car. But no one really has enough time to do this. I'd get the silver!

Default Weighed the pros and cons

I just ordered a Black S4. I liked silver but I now about 5 close friends that all have silver cars and wanted to be different.

Yes black looks the best when clean and yes it gets dirty fast, but hell it's my car and I enjoy washing it so who cares. So it will get dirty, all cars do anyways. I know people that own silver cars and wash them every week or so.
