Default Dealer says they did 130 miles of test driving ...

This is for an electrical problem where my EPC light refuses to go out. I find that difficult (if not impossible) to believe. Anyone here know what I should do and how/if I can verify these 130 miles of "test driving"? I'm pretty sure I'll be calling AoA at a minimum. I do have documentation of the mileage in and out from the dealer, and I also have an official odometer reading from the morning I dropped off the car because I had an insurance inspection right before.

Putting my college degree to use, even if every test drive they took was 5 miles, that's 26 test drives in like a 4 day period (the service manager says they have 9 hours of work invested).

Default sounds really high to me....anyone else have similiar experience?

i can see if the problem was intermittent and they couldn't get it to come on...but usually service dept's are too lazy and will say they coudlnt' redporduce the problem. this smacks of a joy ride....

Default Sounds like someone in the service department took a little joyride...

that is total BS for an elcetrical problem...I don't see why they had to put more than 5 - 10 miles on your car...I would be all over AOA and the dealerships management like a cheap suit!

Default Sometimes the service manager or shop foreman will take a car home for the night...to test

But 130 miles? Sheesh.

Default How many days has your car been in service?

EPC light can be triggered by a single or multiple DTC's. How do you know its only an electrical problem?
