service advisor just called toldme front cam seal, and that its a 6-hour job by the clock.

I had this found on my car when i took it in for another problem. I guess you can look at it in a few ways. It is major engine work, you have to take the block apart and I believe they estimate about 7-8 of labor so it will probably take them 2 days to do it. Second be glad they found it becuase it's usually a slight leak and over time can cause a problem if not found. Third if you were adding oil all the time then this might cure that problem, I know it did for me.

... there was just a very slight seepage from the gasket. No real oil loss.

This is a common issue on these cars.
