I have had an annoying problem with my S4...the car has slightly pulled right since day one. I have been told everything from the, "the roads are crowned and this will happen"...to, "your tires are not properly inflated".
This morning I dropped my car off at the dealer for a couple of minor procedures...one of them was to bitch about the alignment. Much to my surprise the dealer just called me and said the service technician rotated my tires several times to determine if the tires were the problem...guess what...my right front Blowtenza is defective.
I checked the tires this morning and there does not appear to be any sidewall bubbles. The service underwriter could not tell me specifically what the defect was other than it has nothing to do with a bubble.
The replacement will be here on Wednesday...should I have the spare put on the front with the new tire as well so that I have even tread on the front tires? I currently have 5K on the tires today...
Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

These bubbles will only show up with a high psi in the tire. If your tire or tires were underinflated in order to disguise the defect upon delivery, you might have never BOTHERED to check the psi. This might ALSO account for your PULL to the right that was noticed. After MY OWN failure to check the tire pressure upon delivery, and after two failed, blown tires, I discovered that these tires were delivered with 10psi less than recommended by the manufacturer.
Not saying that there is a conspiracy here, but it is NOT surprising that AUDI did not release much information about your tire problem.
MY ADVISE TO YOU.....get the GOODYEARS or PIRELLIS, and contact NHSTA!

I check the tire pressure regularly, about every two weeks. I keep my front tires inflated to 40 lbs PSI and the rear tires at 38 lbs PSI...I will report this as soon as the dealer explains the defect.
