Alot of smoke came out of the exhaust after the test...I let the car idle and then took it for a spin. After about 15 minutes of driving did the smoke stop. Did I do something wrong?? Also the pressure test seemed like air was leaking through the oil cap is this bad?

I bet you used TOO much air pressure.
Most likely you gave the crank case a good dose possitive pressure air, forcing oil past the rings and into the cyl's or past the valve guides. The air coming from the oil cap is a tip.
I don't think you did any damage (short of oily plugs) and the drive burned out what little oil you forced into the combustion chamber. Check your oil level though!
Next time ease up on the pressure.

You mentioned that "air was leaking through the oil cap"
that is a tip that the crank case has positive pressure (among others). You just want enough pressure to test the intake system...yes?
Not blocking off the "Positive Crankcase Vent." valve would allow pressurized air into the crank case and the oil past the rings could result.

Good memory. In short no.
the problem never surfaced again. No other CELs. I took it easy for a bit, but then last night I pushed it a bit and nothing...solid. I drove it today and again, a few 3 gear 5K runs and it seems fine. Bad gas maybe??
Today I pulled all the top covers to poke around a bit (general familiarization) and to see if I could see a cracked TBB, but nothing...all looks good. The car only has 11,600 on it so I did'nt think I'd find anything obviously wrong.
