Did the Hitachi mass air sensor come stock on some 2.7t's? Or were they all Bosch stock?

Did the Hitachi mass air sensor come stock on some 2.7t's? Or were they all Bosch stock?
It looks like the Hitachi was part of the 2001.5 upgrade, is this correct?
