Default Re: Do the test, 80 in 6th gear and just about floor it, slip=shot

Ill try the 80 in 6th and see what happens....i've nailed it in 3rd @ 3600 rpms with no slippage, i've also up shifted through gears while nailing it with no signs of slippage either...seems like the only time it slipping right now is off of hard launchs
also getting a smooth start is a lil problem sometimes....when letting off the clutch the contact between the clutch and the FW feels choppy as if the clutch wasn't evenly flat or something....The thing the bothers me most out of all is the amount of force needed to keep the clutch pedal to the floor when shifting

All i know is i burnt/Glazed the hell out of it....honestly the smell hung around for an hour or so till i got home....even smelt a wiff of it in the morning when i walked in to the garage

Thanks for the tip

Default Should of not of been racing a hillbilly truck in the snow =)

I honestly couldnt even hear my engine when we were side by side over that truck with its str8 pipes....i was paying more attention to his rear end making sure it wasnt going to come over and hit me...should of been paying more attention to my Rpms or noticed that my wheels were spinning like crazy shooting my rpms through the roof

on a previous race a lil while before burning the clutch me the dude in the z71 and my brother in his 05 f-150 fx4 lined up @ 25 mph on a snow covered road and i destroyed them real bad
