Default Did you replace the leaky diverter valves??

They make the cars (A4's, TT's, S4's etc feel
surge-y)

I have the same problem with APR's chip, i'm waiting to send it back and get the upgrade, they told me it should solve the problem

Default Octane.

See, I put the gist of the issue in the title.

It is very common to get knock sensor-based hesitation with a chip. Far more often than people realize. Try driving with the windoows down and punch it in second gear (along a wall helps). Listen for knocking. I was unable to hear very bad knocking with the windows down, and could only percieve hesitation. Gas octane varies widely.

Default There is also a new version available to coincide with EMCS and info on downpipes----

This new version has now been released. It was held back for a short period so it could be implemented with EMCS. That way the trick mods made would be secure from preying eyes. It is a very smooth revision. We also will begin shipping the downpipe systems next week. This kit is a 345 hp kit. These come with high flow cats and straight pipe sections (for off road use only). They really open things up nicely. Feel free to give us a ring anytime.

Default APR do I have to pay for EMCS to get the new version, or can you just upgrade my present chip?

Default Same problem here. It seems common with APR.

I called APR when it happened and they thought that it was the TBB, but when I checked it was fine.(That was a waste of an hour) So I disconnected the battery and did a throttle adaptation. That got rid of the hesitation, and all of the APR power was back. That lasted about a month, and I had to do it again on the weekend. It feels pretty good now, but not quite 100%.

I am going to call APR again about the problem.

Upgrade is free. New features (multiple programs, throttle adaptation/code reset) are normal price.
