Default I got one. It's not from e-bay. Log in to ebay. If they sent you an e-mail, it will be in "my

messages" too.

Default Don't do it man (more)

Ebay has said to me not to respond to any queries for your personal info, including SSN, address, CC #'s etc, anything someone can use to steal your identity. This link is the actual ebay site that allows you to verify your username. In general it is a characteristic of scammers to ping you for data and tell you that your account/service/membership whatever will be suspended if you don't get back to them. Hope this helps -

Link to ebay ID verify site

Yes, watch out for PayPal spoof emails as well. I always check the email header info to make sure.

Default the more auctions you put up , the more likely you are to get that email

so the people who get it are hopefully more experienced and would hopefully know better, but yea it sucks.

You'll get paypal ones too that look legit. When you follow the links, they address at the top is a whole bunch of #'s.

Default yeah i noticed that. also, when it took me to the ebay page, there were no links, such as "home" and

"my ebay"... so it was pretty obvious...
