Default Is it hard to shift when stopped or moving?

Its tough for me to get it into first when I'm rolling unless I'm going very slow and the car is warm. I've always had that problem, even with a stock shifter (i have a B&M SS now). I think its just the tranny in general, my syncos seem fine otherwise.

Default I would say you're probably fine... unless all 3 of us have bad syncros :-/

I'm going to switch to different (thinner) tranny fulid sometime in the near future (can't remember if its Redline MTL or MT90). That may help some. Usually I just leave the car in 2nd if i'm rolling. I'd rather waste the clutch than a syncro.

Default Why are you shifting into first while moving?

You should only be going into first if you're almost coming to a stop. The car has more than enough low end to pick up from second gear. The first gear lockout is a safety feature to save your transmission in case of a missed shift.

Default Dude, don't shift into first while moving unless you HAVE to. And then, do a rev match...

it will go in much easier with a rev match. Easy on those synchros!!

its only been done to test things out, and it was at a crawl. its definitely not common practice.
